Perception and Psychology of Colour and Shape for Jewel Design in Paris
Signical values, perception, style, color and design of forms, to help them choose the best solution in the creation and morphological representation of the jewel
Ars Europa, with many years of appreciated and successful collaboration with Istituto Marangoni, school of fashion, art and design and IESEG, school of management, has arranged a micro training course about “Perception and psycology of colour and shape for jewel design in Paris” in downtown Paris, Rue de Rivoli, close to Louvre Museum, on the following day:
- Thursday June 16th, from 9 a.m. to 12 and from 1,50 p.m. to 5,45 p.m.
The course aims to explain to the learners signical values, perception, style, color and design of forms, to help them choose the best solution in the creation and morphological representation of the jewel and improve the critical approach.
With these cognitive tools, learners will be able, therefore, to decide what color and shape is best suited to design and communicate the creation of jewel, in relation to the perceptual results to be achieved in order to characterize its communication with the iconic or symbolic values best suited to draw out the end user’s desire to purchase.

- Visual categories: the shape and its meanings Plastic connotation and plastic denotation
- Gestalt : the psycology of form
- The shape and style
- Shots
- The observation point
- Semantic cathegories
- Bauhaus
- Clock of Itten
- Syntax color: color combinations and contrasts
This intensive course is conceived for professionals coming from the fashion, arts, design and luxury field and other sectors too.
All of the applicants will receive a certificate of participation with designation as a qualified “Communication Jewel specialist”.
